The NXT Evo Dota 2 SEA Cup Series is a joint project by NXTGame and the Mineski Events Team, which aims to develop the next generation of top Dota 2 teams in the region, by providing a "No Tier 1 Teams allowed" tournament setting for aspiring and semi-professional teams alike. This will give them an opportunity to hone their talents by competing for glory, money, and the attention of the rest of the Dota 2 scene/community.
Marshalls will assist the teams with match schedules, and the tournament will run for 15 days after the inaugural edition which starts off with the online qualifiers this July 3. Afterwhich, the next 2 editions will immediately follow.
